WORK EXPERIENCE

 

Founder and President of the 305 Club, Miami, FL  2019 - Present

  • Created a teen volunteer force in 2019 called the 305 Club which benefits at-risk children in Miami. Started with 19 members after volunteering at Urban Promise & Hope for Miami and planning the first St. Patrick’s Fun & Kinship Day.
  • Grew the 305 Club to 72 members from subsequent classes at Belen and expanded to a second school by recruiting a founder from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart to start a new chapter.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the 305 Club from orientations, schedules, IG account and plan and execute monthly events like science fairs, holiday festivities and sports clinics. 305 Club members get level ll clearance in order to have direct and engaged contact with children from elementary through middle school in after school and summer camps programs.
  • Personally volunteered over 700 hours since 2019
  • Produced promotional film from concept to completion along with social media campaign that helped raised much needed funds for the non-profits the 305 Club supports. $35,041 raised in 2020 and $40,142.63 in 2021. 

 

Calypso Marine Boats Miami, FL Boat Construction, Company and Product Strategy, Digital Marketing 2018- Present

  • Visited factory in Trinidad and Tobago to source and negotiate a collaboration on the “pirogue” boat hull traditional to the Caribbean basin to bring to the United States
  • Helped strategize with the team on how to refine the traditional build of the boat to suit the American boat market
  • Worked 14-16 hour days over the summer to help launch the company and build out our first flagship boat in late 2018
  • Was on the launch marketing team which showcased the "Calypso34" at the 2020 Miami International Boat Show 
  • Worked during the school year after school and on weekends to continue building the boats, in the process, learning skills around sanding fiberglass, wiring the GPS and steering systems and building in the seating around the boat
